Celebrating 10 Years

Today at The Kenyan Children's Project we are celebrating our 10th anniversary! We are looking back over the last 10 years, celebrating every good thing that has been accomplished and every life that has been saved.

It has been an exciting journey. The KCP was a small charity that started in 2005 with little resources. Stuart and Chloe Glassborow believed they could make a difference and so the charity began. They founded the KCP in faith that there was no act of love too small and that the vulnerable children of Kenya are worth all our efforts.

The KCP has grown beyond our hopes and so much good has been achieved. Over the years, 90 children have been rescued and brought into our family home. Some have since been reintegrated back into their home communities, they are no longer hurting children but are successful young adults.

Whole communities have been impacted through the investment of the KCP. Over the 10 years we have; built kitchens, provided medical care and treatment for Tungiasis, educated on health and hygiene, concreted school floors, empowered widows, painted classrooms, facilitated agricultural training, built homes, started a school, purchased 15 acres of land and supplied literally thousands of meals. There are so many reasons to be thankful for the last 10 years. Every life touched makes all the investment worth it.

We have seen some of our wildest dreams become a reality. Nothing compares to seeing a child saved. Thank you to all of our partners, we couldn't do it without you! Thank you for every faithful donation and for every item donated. Together we have impacted the lives of many children. Here's to the next 10 years; to bringing hope to to the hopeless, love to the lonely and peace to their hearts.
