Kevin's Emergency Treatment
Many of you will know Kevin. He is a precious member of the KCP family, who, since September, has been on an intense journey of Leukaemia treatment. We want to take this opportunity to thank everyone who has partnered with us with their finances, support and prayers to help get Kevin this far. Without the treatment Kevin has received to date, the Doctors are certain that Kevin would not have made it this far. But this is not Kevin’s story, Kevin has received excellent care and treatment, which has been made possible through many of your generous donations, We really can’t thank you enough for all you have done to help save our precious boy’s life.
Kevin undergoes intensive chemotherapy each week. Whilst this is hard for Kevin, we are amazed by how well Kevin has stayed despite the harsh treatment he is receiving. Against all odds Kevin has had very few negative side effects. This is something we celebrate daily.
Kevin has now been receiving cancer treatment for 5 months, during this time his needs have been great.
To date we have spent £16,809.35 on Kevin’s Hospital admissions, chemotherapy treatment, medication, assigned carers, numerous consultations with Doctors among other related costs.
Thanks to your generosity we have raised £8,754 to date, which has contributed hugely towards giving Kevin the lifesaving treatment he has received so far. However, there is still a great financial need to see Kevin’s treatment carried to fruition, Kevin’s total medical costs are predicted to cost £40,000.
We need to raise a further £31,246 to see Kevin complete his lifesaving treatment, paid in full.
Every penny really does count and so… we would like to invite you to a Quiz Night with a Fish and Chips dinner. This fun event is being organised by The KCP team, to raise funds for Kevin's medical treatment.
